Config Boot Error,Recovery console

When You want to fix the “Windows\System32\config\system File is missing or corrupt” where xp want boot Don’t Format your OS and say i’ll get all my data from the beginning !!

put your XP Boot CD and press R to run Recovery Console :

Go to Recovery console and type the following :

1- select the windows you want to repair by pressing the number of the windows ( if there are more than one of OS on the PC)

2- write :

cd system\config
ren system system.old
ren system.alt systemalt.old
copy c:\windows\repair\system
copy c:\windows\repair\regback\system
exit

That’s it .
